Poster Contest

The poster contest offers youth the opportunity to display their artistic talents, given a themed topic or subject that includes 4-H.

Poster Contest Winner 2020-2021

Congratulations to the winners of our 4-H Poster Contest. Benjamin Schubert first place with Root For 4-H. Hope Dennis second place with Paint Your Future with 4-H. Grace Dennis third place with Aim for Success with 4-H.

Public Speaking Contest

The public speaking contest is meant to build communication skills, confidence, and self-esteem. 4-Her’s will prepare a speech to present in clubs based on speech guidelines.  

Demonstration / Interactive Exhibit

The Demonstration contest and Interactive Exhibit is a contest designed to build upon public speaking skills and do so while being able to demonstrate a task. 4-Her’s will choose a topic based upon the categories provided by the 4-H agent and compile a presentation to show the audience how to complete a specific task. The demonstration contest is for 4th and 5th grade 4-Hers therefore, they follow the demonstration contest guidelines. The 6th, 7th, and 8th graders participate in the interactive exhibit contest and follow the interactive exhibit contest guidelines.

Clover Bowl

The purpose of the Clover Bowl is that it will help participants develop leadership, teamwork and communication skills. This is done by competing against Clover Bowl Teams in the same grade level. The teams will be asked questions in the areas of 4-H, Tennessee (History, Geography, and Government), Agriculture, Life Skills, Government and Science.  The team who receives the most points advances.
